At a time when health care systems are going through dramatic changes at nearly every level, the role of the nurse leader is more important than ever. As a nurse and a business person, the nurse leader is uniquely qualified to assess the impact of business decisions on the overall quality of the patient’s care. -- UST Executive Education in Nurse Leadership is a program specifically designed to develop the knowledge, behaviors and critical thinking required by nurse leaders at the highest levels of their organizations. Our program features a small, cohort-style learning approach delivered in a beautiful retreat setting. Through lecture, simulations, and group work centered on real scenarios from the health care industry, participants will increase their: • Personal leadership capacity • Business and financial acumen • Ability to develop talent and maximize resources • Capacity to improve stakeholder satisfaction and loyalty -- Learn, exchange ideas, practice new skills and behaviors, and network with peers while you grow as a nurse leader. -- Upcoming offerings: May 17 - June 17, 2011 Full Days -- Cost: $6,500 (6.2 CEUs) per participant which includes all learning materials, lodging, meals, and refreshments. -- There are no prerequisites to enroll in this non-degree program.
